American Rivers American Rivers is a national non-profit conservation organization dedicated to protecting and restoring healthy natural rivers and the variety of life they sustain for people, fish, and wildlife. American Whitewater American Whitewater restores rivers dewatered by hydropower dams, eliminates water degradation, improves public land management and protects public access to rivers for responsible recreational use. Earthjustice Earthjustice is the nonprofit law firm for the environment, representing without charge, hundreds of public interest clients, large and small. Earthjustice works through the courts to safeguard public lands, national forests, parks, and wilderness areas; to reduce air and water pollution; to prevent toxic contamination; and to preserve endangered species and wildlife habitat. Founded in 1971 as Sierra Club Legal Defense Fund, Earthjustice has played a leading role in shaping the development of environmental law. Environmental Defense Fund Environmental Defense is dedicated to protecting the environmental rights of all people, including future generations. Natural Resources Defense Council NRDC is the nation's most effective environmental action organization. Quetico Foundation The Quetico Foundation is a registered charity which is dedicated to the protection of wilderness class parks, and particularly Quetico Park, Ontario, Canada. The Foundation was formed as part of the joint American-Canadian effort to protect the unique wilderness areas in the borderlands, west of Lake Superior. River Alliance of Wisconsin The River Alliance is Wisconsin’s only conservation organization devoted to restoring and protecting the state’s rivers and streams. Starting her family made her take a special interest in disaster preparedness in order to protect her loved ones and everything they’ve worked so hard for.
